Join Sean T Fox for the Church of Qi: a Ceremony of Community to Empower our Collective Wellness.

We will begin with an all-levels Qigong practice to breathe, stretch and flow into harmonious alignment. Qigong is meditative medicine in motion, allowing us to access the innate healing abilities of the body, open our meridian channels and activate our energetic fields.

From this deeply relaxed, revitalized and centered place we will lay down and receive a blissful sound healing bath of singing bowls, sacred song and vibrational medicine. Acupuncture needles and Energy Work will be offered to all who wish to receive. In this space we may profoundly unwind, creating space for body and mind to heal and feel balanced, nourished and aligned.

Please bring a water bottle and anything you need to set up a comfortable nest for yourself to lie down on the floor, such as yoga mat, blankets, bolsters, pillows, etc.

On Friday, August 9th, the melancholic and ethereal Illudium will share the stage with Seattle's atmospheric black metal band Izthmi, who are touring Oakland to support their new demo, "A Moonlit Walk Through Eternity." Joining them will be noise acts Thoabath and Rubber (() Cement. Thoabath blends Death Industrial, Black Metal, Noise, and Berlin School electronics. Rubber (() Cement has toured Europe twice, done eleven tours through Japan, and numerous coast-to-coast performances in the USA.
